I was at work today, programming away and listening to some music when a thought popped into my head, along with the thought, a wave of emotion overwhelmed me and I had to stop and sit for a bit. The thought is that our deepest desire is not love, our deepest desire is to feel connected.
This deep desire to feel connected manifests itself in so many ways, in wanting attention, in wanting love, in wanting a relationship which in turn manifests in our efforts to be rich, famous, smart, beautiful...anything to be desirable so that we can connect with another...
The Kabbalah (or what I know of it) is right...our whole reason for being is to return to the source...the one...where we are all connected as one...
